This morning Coinbase notified its users via email saying that it is finally possible to transfer euro between Coinbase and PayPal also in Italy
This means that from this morning it is possible to transfer fiat currency from Coinbase to Paypal.
The procedure to transfer euro between Coinbase and PayPal is simple and fast, as it only requires a few clicks to authorise Coinbase on the Paypal account and link the Paypal account to the Coinbase one.
To do this the user needs to navigate to the settings of the account on Coinbase, select the “Linked Accounts” section and proceed with the connection of a new account by clicking on the “Link to New Account” button.
The procedure starts by clicking on the appropriate button which opens up a window where Italian accounts can finally choose the PayPal option.
For now, it is only possible to use the PayPal account to transfer fiat currency from Coinbase, while deposits are not allowed yet. So it’s not possible to use PayPal to buy bitcoin (BTC) on Coinbase and it is not yet clear when and if it will be available in Italy.
