Grin has its own blockchain explorer as well, even more than one. These are Grin Block Scan and Grin Scan, two valid websites that provide some information on the privacy coin.
Since its launch in mid-January, the Grin cryptocurrency has been a big hit in the community, especially because it is anonymous and perhaps even better than its competitors Monero, Zcash and Beam.
Grin, because of its ability to protect the privacy of users, does not reveal much information about the transactions. However, through blockchain explorer tools, it is possible to collect some relevant data about the crypto, such as mining data and the number of transactions, as well as the price of the Grin cryptocurrency.
For instance, by using Grin Block Scan, it is possible to see that to date more than 100 thousand transactions have been made, that the total supply is 2,048,880 and that the hashrate is 185,865.02 gps, with a difficulty of 44.01 (TH).
Currently, by mining Grin, also referred to as Grinning, 60 Grin are generated every minute with a reward of $230 per minute (at today’s price of $3.84), so this is the block time.
The block size, on the other hand, is limited by a hard cap of around 1,5 MB.
