Marco Montemagno is one of the most famous top influencers of the web world.

Just yesterday he published the first video of “Crypto-Special”, a series of 20 videos dedicated to the world of blockchain and ICOs.

For the occasion, we interviewed him to better understand the project and what we can expect from the upcoming videos, made in collaboration with Cryptonomist and Eidoo.

Good morning Marco, can you tell us what the series “Crypto Special” will be about?

Let’s start by saying that in the 20 episodes we will talk about cryptocurrencies and everything involving them, starting from the basics so everyone can understand, even those new to the sector. We will do this first with videos dedicated to blockchain technology and bitcoin, we will then analyze together the various platforms, from the 1500 crypto alternatives to the best-known Bitcoin currency and the possible investments. We will always do so with a view to the future and the prospects of this new world.

Can you anticipate something about guests and themes?

Certainly, thanks to the partnership with Eidoo, in each episode will have many guests who will allow us to get to the heart of the various topics. In the first video, dedicated to the blockchain theme, we had guest Giacomo Zucco, CEO of Blockchainlab. In the next videos, we will see Thomas Bertani, director of Eidoo and founder of Oraclize, Lars Schlichting CEO of Poseidon, Giampietro Cutrino CEO of Sgame and founder of Wallem, and The Crytonomist, a magazine specialized on crypto-economy and actively collaborating in the production of the series.

You live in England, not far from London: how is the situation concerning cryptos?

As always, England is showing a strong openness towards new financial market developments. For several years now, companies and others have been moving in the direction of cryptos and blockchain. To give some examples, projects related to ecology, such as the one in Liverpool, have already started. Other examples include the food sector, the banking sector and the government, all showing their interest in guaranteeing safety. England is one of the most sensitive European countries on this front.

What do you think about the spread of blockchain? Will it take a long time for it to become mainstream?

I believe that the strong interest of the great technological giants towards blockchain technology and the desire of people to disintermediate themselves from those who today are the monopolizing everything favours and will encourage the mass adoption.
