Circle platform adds 4 new cryptocurrencies

The well-known online payment Circle platform is increasingly expanding in the crypto world.

After acquiring the Poloniex exchange, they are now increasing the number of tradeable tokens.

They recently announced that they have added EOS, 0x, Stellar and Qtum.

Circle Invest now includes 11 cryptocurrencies, which can be purchased individually or within the “Buy the Market” program that allows you to buy a diversified portfolio with a single click.

The choice fell on these 4 new currencies based on their potential to provide solutions to enhance the infrastructure of the entire crypto ecosystem.

Obviously, within the Poloniex exchange there are many more currencies available, but while Circle Invest is dedicated specifically to investors, Poloniex is more for traders.

Let’s not forget that Circle is still a platform for fiat payments to which trading and investing features in these 4 cryptocurrencies have been added.

The criteria used to select the currencies to be included in Circle Invest are different from those used for Poloniex and are much more stringent.

In addition, the “explore” function has also been added, which allows access to “contextual and relevant information on the various aspects of encryption”.

The aim is to make discover the most important aspects of these innovative technologies to a broader audience, in order to attract new investors into this market.

This decision was made in the light of the results of a survey that revealed that some categories of people are almost absent in the crypto market.

For example, one of the least represented categories is the one formed by female millennials, which claim to be interested in investing in crypto twice as less as their male peers, although the category of millennials in general claims to be interested in this market 10 times more than the previous generation.

The aim of Circle is to allow everyone to access this market, regardless of age and gender. For this reason, they are committed to making their investments simple and accessible thanks to a simplified user experience and popular content.

And it is for these reasons that, according to some rumours, Circle is actually proposing itself as a competitor of Coinbase.
