They have recently announced some new features that will help people understand, explore and purchase cryptocurrencies.
Furthermore, Coinbase states that they expect millions of new users to make their first purchase of cryptocurrencies in the coming years and that they are aware that entering this market can be often particularly complex.
The first novelty is the so-called bundle.
This is a variable percentage selection of the 5 cryptocurrencies currently available on Coinbase. In this way, it is possible to buy a package of 5 cryptocurrencies with a minimum of only 25 dollars.
The service is aimed at those who do not know which cryptocurrencies to buy and have a precise budget to invest. In fact, using data from market capitalization of currencies at the time of purchase, Coinbase calculates a diversified portfolio that can be purchased with a few clicks.
Once the package has been purchased, the cryptocurrencies contained in it are delivered in the individual platform wallets so that they can then be managed individually, as if they had been purchased separately.
The second innovation consists of information pages on the 50 main cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, including those not currently available on the platform.
These pages are designed as a starting point for getting to know the different cryptocurrencies. They are publicly available to anyone, even without being registered on Coinbase, and contain historical trading data, current market capitalization, a description of the cryptocurrencies and links to the related whitepapers and websites.
The third new feature is Coinbase Learn, a new section of the website created to educate people who are new to this world, where answers to basic questions can be found.
