It seems that the race to adopt cryptocurrencies as payment methods in the real world is unstoppable. Among the many, also Tron, the eleventh cryptocurrency by capitalization, takes to the field and interacts with startups to increase the use of its TRX token.
After the entry as a payment method on Pornhub and after winning the Bitcoin Superstore entry, together with BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC and XRP, a US online superstore with 200,000 stores (through the use of gift certificates), Tron continues its expansion.
To the delight of Tron’s CEO, Justin Sun, the new Poppy platform has created an update for Clover, the famous cloud-based POS software that is used by stores to accept payments through Visa and Mastercard, introducing the Tron blockchain.
This strategy will allow vendors and merchants who are already users of Clover Market apps to download Poppy and offer an alternative crypto payment to their customers: TRX.
In addition, Poppy is also launching the new TronCard, a sort of credit card that can only be used through the Poppy terminals. The card will include features such as a 3D barcode for easy reference to the public address associated with TRON wallets.
Again, the strategy is to make the use of cryptocurrency more and more familiar, through the purchase of a card.

At the moment, the TronCard is still in its beta phase, and it is expected that at the time of launch the use cases will be presented. In addition, the use of the TronCard will be through an associated application that executes the transaction, but which is not yet enabled to exchange fiat-crypto.
