As announced a few months ago by the “virtual mayor” of Kiev Andriy Moroz, the Satoshi Nakamoto Republic is about to start selling virtual land. The first land for sale will be the central square of the city, Maidan Nezalezhnosti.
Moroz himself said:
“AR/VR technologies is our future. Today it’s even hard to imagine how rapidly our world is changing. I can guess, that at the moment, the society could be shocked by the things we are doing, but we are not afraid, we are motivated, because the history has a lot of examples of the technological progress, which at the initial stage were perceived extremely skeptical”.
The main idea of the Satoshi Nakamoto Republic’s project, in fact, is precisely the virtualization of cities in order to create a Virtual Republic. To date, 11 virtual statues have already been installed in the USA, Switzerland and Ukraine, but this is only part of the project.
The next step is the sale of virtual land using a special platform, through which anyone can, for example, install virtual objects for advertising purposes.
According to the project’s creators, one of the main advantages would be the purchase price, considered very affordable. In addition, the platform should ensure secure transactions and the issuance of a certificate of ownership of the virtual land. Once the purchase has been made, the placement of a virtual object is free of charge.
Surely this advertising format announces itself as particularly innovative, also because, in addition to being able to install a virtual object, you can also create and place your own virtual consultants within the virtual land.
The sale price of the land is $50 per 10 square meters and the pre-sale has already begun.
