Mike Novogratz, former bank investor of Goldman Sachs and now a well-known character in the crypto community for his predictions on the price of BTC, has donated bitcoin to the University of Princeton.
The donation to Princeton University would have been made today by Novogratz and his wife Sukey Cáceres, both Princeton students in the 1980s, to the entire “Bridge Year Program” which allows students to participate in a 9-month study program sponsored by the University in countries such as Bolivia, China, India, Indonesia and Senegal.
Princeton University President Christopher L Eisgruber, accepting the donation, said:
“I am deeply grateful to Mike and Sukey Novogratz for their generous support of the program… Their extraordinary gift will enable generations of Princetonians to embark on a path of global citizenship as Bridge Year scholars”.
At the moment, the amount of the crypto donation made by Novogratz is not known.
According to Novogratz’s latest bitcoin price prediction, new all-time highs will be reached in 2019.
