SatoshiLabs, the manufacturer of the well-known Trezor hardware wallet, has partnered with the high-end brand GRAY, which is also the manufacturer and designer of the Zyra and Alter Ego collections for Apple devices, to launch Corazon, a titanium wallet hardware.
The Corazon is based on the Trezor Model T, a wallet launched on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the creation of Bitcoin.
Corazon is made from a single block of grade 5 aerospace titanium, a material used in aviation and Formula 1 that is then moulded into its unique design to create a lightweight yet very durable device designed to last.
In addition to making the device safe, it is designed to capture light and radiate it in an original way, as well as creating a special tactile sensation.
According to the manufacturer, this special design is also “tamper-proof” because it makes the device impenetrable without compromising its external integrity.
The same manufacturer says that the impenetrability of the device has been verified by security researchers and Trezor’s stellar track record.
Inside the titanium case, there is only a Trezor Model T-based hardware wallet that supports over 700 cryptocurrencies and tokens without any other functionality that could compromise its security.
Outside, in addition to the case, there is a small touchscreen that allows convenient use.
Finally, Corazon has a seed recovery function to ensure the availability of funds even in the event of theft or loss.
Corazon’s technology is entirely open-source in order to be completely transparent, in line with Trezor’s security philosophy.
The models available are three: the $942 Corazon Titanium, the $1,348 Corazon Stealth limited edition, and the $2,026 Corazon Gold.
