IronX has announced the launch of its Global Cryptocurrency Exchange.
After collecting $26 million through an ICO and completing the beta testing phase, the exchange is now ready for the market.
It allows the exchange of eleven cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, IRX, PMA, ADA, EOS, LTC, NEO, XLM, XRP and XTZ) and three fiat currencies (USD, EUR and JPY).
The aim is to create a fully regulated trading ecosystem, thanks to the licence obtained by the Financial Intelligence Unit of Estonia (FIU) and the attempt to obtain authorisation in the jurisdictions of Gibraltar and Malta. In addition, IronX is also planning to purchase a licence as a PI Payment Institution in the UK.
The cryptocurrency exchange platform will be integrated with traditional online trading through a common portal that will also allow exchanging FX, CFDs, stocks, futures, commodities and indices.
Among the available trading tools and functions the team announced market, limit and stop orders, and a 50% discount on trading commissions paid with the native IRX token.
Exchange users will be able to rely on competitive defined exchange rates, high-level security, data protection, and easy conversion from fiat to crypto, particularly useful for newcomers.
Upon registration and approval of the KYC, 10 IRX will be automatically distributed to users.
Furthermore, there is also a referral program available, with a bonus on trading fees of 20% for users that hold less than 12,500 IRX, 40% if they hold at least 12,500 IRX, and 50% if they hold more than 25,000 IRX.
IronX Exchange is a joint venture between the global multi-asset broker IronFX and Emurgo HK, which helps startups create decentralised applications based on the Cardano blockchain.
The CEO of IronX, Dimitris Hatzis, said:
