The new edition of the EDCON event will be held in Sydney, Australia from April 8th to 13th, 2019 and will see the participation of Eidoo and Provable.
EDCON is the Community Ethereum Development Conference and is an annual series of conferences dedicated to the development of Ethereum and its community.
The goal is to enhance the communication and interaction of the Ethereum community around the world and accelerate the healthy development of this ecosystem.
The 2017 edition was held in Paris, France, from February 17th to 18th, while the 2018 edition was held at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada, from May 3rd to 5th.
This time it will be an entire week of events, divided into EDCON HACK, from April 8th to 10th, and the actual conference itself, from April 11th to 13th.
EDCON HACK will be a hackathon dedicated in particular to Sharding, PoS, Plasma, Snark, clients, channels, etc…
The conference will be dedicated to the core developments of Ethereum and the development teams will be invited to talk about the latest updates on this technology. In addition, other important speakers will share their thoughts on current trends, projects and applications, as well as community development and construction plans.
The name Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, obviously stands out among the speakers, as does a large group of well-known developers of the ecosystem.
