My Ether Wallet (MEW), one of the most famous wallets for Ethereum (ETH) and ERC20 tokens, announces a new feature: buy ETH with credit card.
The news was published on the official MEW Medium page, with a press release announcing a partnership with Simplex.
Simplex is a regulated fintech company that began operating in the cryptocurrency ecosystem in 2014. Their anti-fraud technology has been integrated into the MEW platform so that anyone can easily access the new financial world of cryptocurrencies, using fiat currencies and credit cards.
Simplex claims to use advanced AI anti-fraud algorithms, tested within the high-risk crypto market. In addition, they are already working on many other blockchain projects.
MEW users will now be able to bypass cryptocurrency exchanges and buy ETHs directly by paying them in euros, dollars, or other fiat currencies.
Of course, a registration process is required for compliance with the KYC and AML regulations, as is the case of all regulated financial sector operators.
Once you have verified your identity you can proceed with the purchase of ETH, which, once purchased, will be credited directly to the wallet.
