iShares: annuncio di BlackRock Canada e ambito dell’operazione di distribuzione delle plusvalenze
BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited, controllata indiretta e interamente posseduta da BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE: BLK), ha comunicato le distribuzioni annuali di plusvalenze reinvestite per gli ETF iShares quotati su TSX e Cboe Canada per l’anno fiscale 2025.
Queste distribuzioni riguardano esclusivamente le plusvalenze annuali non in contanti, che vengono generalmente reinvestite in nuove unità dei singoli fondi alla chiusura dell’esercizio. Non comprendono quindi le ordinarie distribuzioni mensili, trimestrali, semestrali o annuali in contanti.
Le nuove unità generate dal reinvestimento saranno immediatamente consolidate con le unità già in circolazione. Di conseguenza, il numero di unità in circolazione dopo l’operazione resterà uguale al numero di unità esistente prima del reinvestimento.
Date chiave, tassazione e reporting per gli investitori
La data di record per le distribuzioni annuali 2025 è fissata al 30 dicembre 2025, mentre il pagamento avverrà il 5 gennaio 2026. Inoltre, gli importi fiscalmente rilevanti delle plusvalenze reinvestite e delle distribuzioni in contanti, inclusa la loro natura ai fini fiscali, saranno comunicati ai broker tramite CDS Clearing and Depository Services Inc. all’inizio del 2026.
Gli investitori riceveranno quindi dalle rispettive società di intermediazione le informazioni necessarie per la dichiarazione dei redditi, in linea con la normativa fiscale canadese applicabile agli ETF.
Detto ciò, le cifre annunciate rappresentano importi “per unità” e non l’ammontare complessivo distribuito da ciascun fondo, che dipende dal numero totale di unità in circolazione.

Per l’ETF iShares Premium Money Market ETF (CMR), BlackRock segnala inoltre che l’importo di distribuzione può includere una componente di reddito, oltre alle plusvalenze reinvestite. Tuttavia, la distinzione puntuale tra reddito e plusvalenze sarà chiarita nella reportistica fiscale di inizio 2026.
