BITBOX exchange is here, created by the company that manages one of the most used messaging apps in the world.
The announcement is official and comes from the website of Line Corporation itself: the new cryptocurrency BITBOX exchange has started operations.
Line Corporation is a true digital telecommunications giant. It’s a Japanese company with a turnover of more than a billion dollars, famous above all for its LINE messaging app, by far one of the most used in Japan and Asia with over 600 million registered users and 200 million active users every month around the world.
The possible integration of BITBOX into the LINE app, therefore, would give access to the exchange of cryptocurrencies to millions and millions of people.
BITBOX is a “user-centred exchange”, thanks above all to LINE’s experience in design optimization which, according to the authors, has enabled the creation of an intuitive layout that is very easy to use.
The idea is to transform BITBOX into a “social exchange”, very easy to use, but at the same time with high levels of security.
The first 2 million users who register on the website will be given a token prize equivalent to 10 dollars to use for trading.
In addition, during the first month of transactions, trading fees are set at zero.
To ensure high levels of security, the exchange is integrating the multisig technology offered by BitGo. The BitGo wallet is a hot wallet with a three key management to ensure a very secure storage of tokens.
The exchange is available in 15 languages for the Asian and European markets, and allows the trading of approximately 30 cryptocurrencies for users from all over the world except Japan and the United States, due to the restrictions imposed by these countries.
The company that manages the exchange is LINE Tech Plus, based in Singapore.
