Ethereum or Tron: who wins according to Twitter users?

Recently, especially on Twitter, the Ethereum and Tron feud is gaining a lot of ground, fed also by the recent tweets of Adam Back and other maximalists who, in order to destroy Ethereum, are forming partnerships with “the lesser evil”, that is Tron.

As we know, the so-called Bitcoin maximalist is the one who believes that only Bitcoin can survive and that all the other crypto and blockchain are just scam, hence also the term shitcoin or altcoin.

From what has emerged from recent posts, it seems that Ethereum is considered the main enemy and, therefore, in order to see him defeated the CEO of Blockstream decided to ally with Tron and even let him land on Liquid.

Ethereum or Tron?

Probably for the above reasons, the bitcoiner Rob McNealy, CEO of Truth Raider and opponent of Ethereum, has launched a poll for the Twitter crypto community to declare the winner between the two blockchain.

The poll asks if, in 10 years time, would you rather have $10,000 in gold, Ethereum or Tron?

The poll, however, did not have the desired purpose and it shows that almost 50% of the voters (currently over 8 thousand accounts) voted pro ETH.

Ethereum vs Tron by dApp Number

According to a recent report published by dApp Review, Ethereum is a huge success as far as dApps are concerned, in addition to being the first blockchain to host this type of technology, Ethereum beats Tron by almost one million users.

According to the report, but even looking at dAPPradar, the result doesn’t change, Ethereum has 1.82 million users using dApp, while Tron has 989k. By the way, even as a number, dApps on Ethereum are many more: 2,146 dApps versus 663 for Tron.

Even in terms of market capitalization, the two cryptos have no comparison: ETH is in second place according to Coinmarketcap with daily volumes of over $21 billion, while TRX is in 12th place with just over $2 billion.

Without forgetting that Tron was born as an ICO on the Ethereum blockchain in September 2017 earning $70 million, although the ICO of Ethereum – considering that it was the first in history – obtained “only” $16 million in August 2014.
