Charlie Lee, the creator of Litecoin (LTC), recently complimented a project that makes it possible to buy products on Amazon using Litecoin’s Lightning Network.
This is made possible by the gift card offered on the Bitrefill online platform.
I just bought an Amazon gift card using LN on Litecoin. The payment went through instantly and I got the gift card right away. Good job on the great user experience @bitrefill! ???? #PayWithLitecoin #PayWithLightninghttps://t.co/dJYLksVVCD

It seems that Lightning Network, even if still in beta version, is already being used thanks to platforms, apps and wallets that, without wasting time, have introduced it into their crypto-payment systems.
Among the many, we also find Bitrefill, an online application with a refill in cryptocurrencies, which previously had adopted the new technology in the testing phase, offering services to the user such as the recharge of a phone’s SIM card thanks to Lightning Network.
At the moment the platform supports other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and Dash.
In early July 2018, Bitrefill’s CEO, Sergej Kotliar, stated at a conference held in Lisbon, the intentions of his app that is downloadable from both Android and iOS systems. Kotliar said:
“Bitrefill makes it possible for people around the world to live on cryptocurrencies with mobile top ups in over 160 countries, and vouchers for travel, video games, restaurants, entertainment, and more using Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Dash, and Dogecoin“.
The latest novelty was creating the new Amazon gift card in litecoin, tested and appreciated by the same creator of the digital silver.
On the Bitrefill website, it is explained how vouchers or gift cards are purchased in litecoin in exchange for a code that can be redeemed directly on the app or on the Amazon website.
At the moment the vouchers can only be purchased from countries such as the USA, Germany and Great Britain, have no expiry date and can be used for purchases on millions of items on the world giant of online purchases.
Cryptocurrency payments are also depopulating the commercial world. As Lee points out in his tweet, it can be added that new technologies are creating more and more user experiences, excellent, easy and efficient so as to make the choice of living in crypto more feasible than using fiat currencies.
