During Blockchain Week Rome, we had the opportunity to interview Teck Chia, partner of Binance Labs, and talk about bitcoin’s price, Libra and much more.
Binance Labs is the department of the famous exchange which deals with incubating blockchain startups who want to launch a project based on the Binance Chain as well as other blockchains.
As such, it is responsible for mentoring the team, finding investments and creating a suitable development network to support the project.
Among other things, Binance is now celebrating its second birthday and has just announced that it has optimised the number of confirmations per block to make BTC and ETH transactions faster. Now it is necessary to have 12 confirmations and not 30, both for deposits and withdrawals.
