Knight Story: Biscuit, TRON and EOS

A few days ago, TRON announced that the famous company, Biscuit, creator of Knights, one of the games with the largest number of daily users on the EOS blockchain, will migrate to the TRON (TRX) blockchain under the name of Knights Story.

“Biscuit chose to migrate its next iteration of Knight Story from EOS to TRON to take advantage of the TRON network’s performance, developer-friendly tools, and a robust ecosystem of applications. For the Biscuit team, building on TRON presents greater opportunities to create synergistic partnerships and attract the largest possible audience”.

This migration, in addition to bringing about an incredible change, also involves transferring the related assets from one blockchain to another, which in itself is not a problem, but forces players to set up a TRON account to play and buy the appropriate tokens.

As stated in the specifications of the game Knights Story, for an optimal functioning of the game, and so to avoid CPU problems, it is recommended to stake 15 EOS, which at the current price is an investment of at least $ 45.

These things had alarmed the users of the game, but Biscuit intervened and in a statement made it clear that no migration will actually take place. There will simply be another game, precisely Knight Story, on the TRON blockchain, and the old EOS Knight will continue to exist.

The two games will be able to interact with each other, so the goal is to make the EOS and TRON blockchains communicate via these games, and thus also create a global marketplace where it is possible to sell and buy NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) with both cryptocurrencies.

The 0xWarriors game already allows such a thing, leaving full autonomy to the user to decide which blockchain to use, having obviously the appropriate wallets.

The original TRON Foundation post has been removed, probably because of the confusion, and it also seems that the TRON Foundation account is under investigation for violation of the rules of Medium.
