Blockchain Ladies gadgets for sale on The Crypto Merch for charity

Blockchain Ladies gadgets are now on sale on The Crypto Merch platform.

Just a month ago The Cryptonomist announced the acquisition of the e-commerce website The Crypto Merch.

A themed platform, entirely dedicated to the world of crypto and blockchain, for the purchase of gadgets, with the possibility to pay not only with traditional methods but also with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Zilliqa (ZIL), pTokens (PNT), Dash and many others.

A successful commercial operation, which already included the merchandising of Eidoo and The Cryptonomist.

Today the collection is enriched thanks to a new agreement between The Cryptonomist and Blockchain Ladies: the sale of women’s gadgets for the international community has been underway since 2017.

The movement is headed by the leadership of Caterina Ferrara, Blockchain Business Consultant, who said the following:

“The Cryptonomist always manages to grasp the needs of the members of a global ecosystem, like the one born out of bitcoin. Acquiring a website like The Crypto Merch is certainly another winning step, not surprisingly taken by a very smart and talented, as well as very young, female director like Amelia Tomasicchio“.

The founder continues:

“I am very proud, we are talking about the first female crypto community that launches an operation of this kind, a source of pride also linked to the fact that the proceeds will be donated for next year to an Italian association, Innovami“.

The commitment made is to fund training courses on the Crypto and Blockchain theme, providing it to young female students to stimulate their curiosity about emerging technologies, as well as STEM in general. This term runs the risk of being just a trendy acronym, we need concrete actions to avoid that happening.

The idea was made possible thanks to the two brilliant minds of Christian Gironi (Business Development Manager at Bridgestone) and Stefania Montanari (Global Supply Chain Finance Manager at Jimmy Choo, the London brand acquired by Michael Kors) who are already involved in providing courses for very young people (but not only) using the Lego Serious Play method.

“Christian and Stefania have accepted Blockchain Ladies’ proposal: to transfer the basic concepts of the technology brought to the fore by Satoshi Nakamoto to high school girls through an interactive approach, playing, Legos and a hands-on method. Their enthusiasm was great, which I was sure was due to their considerable commitment to Digital Transformation and the cultural and technological sensitivity that sets them apart”.

All in all, many designs born thanks to the new Merchandising platform that will be presented over the next few days in Rome in a specially prepared event at the Casa Internazionale delle Donne

Participants will include, among others: members of the Community Blockchain Ladies with its founder, the professionals already mentioned in the article and Ilaria Stirpe, CMO of The Cryptonomist.
