Coinmarketcap.com is the world’s most popular website for cryptocurrencies.
It reports the real-time prices of over 1,600 digital currencies taken from over 12,000 sites.
Of course, errors have been discovered in the past that have cast doubt on the reliability of some of the data reported, but they were not decisive.
But perhaps that’s why eccentric John McAfee has decided to release his own version of the Market Cap.
The goal is to create the definitive database of information on everything related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies, improving the tools currently available and bringing something unique and valuable.
Actually, to date the website does not appear complete: it has fewer tools than the competitor and nothing really unique.
But the implementation started only at the beginning of the year, so over time, it could improve.
One of the ambitions of the development team is to allow users of the website to make predictions about future price movements of cryptos and publish them so that they can then be judged by their ability.
The best users will be allowed access to additional features, but it is still unclear which ones they are.
